About

History

Neil Armstrong founded Harvest Moon in 1981 and today serves as Managing Director. In its inception, Harvest Moon was a fresh potato trader to interstate markets, while supplying local greengrocers in Tasmania.

Since then, the business has grown significantly, supplying over 90,000 tonnes of vegetables and employing up to 300 people.

Whilst it still has many of its original customers, Harvest Moon now supplies into major supermarkets both in Australia and overseas.

Expansion

Harvest Moon operates in Victoria and Queensland, after the acquisition of Riverside in 2010, a fresh produce marketer located in Werribee South and Gatton.

Harvest Moon | Victoria is a trusted supplier of whole, cut and processed vegetables to Aldi and Costco.

Harvest Moon is also a shareholder in Franklin Bros (located in the Brisbane Market) and Tasman Seeds (New Zealand).
